The Indian patent office announced the meeting of stakeholders will be held at Patent office Delhi, on 19^th June, 2017 at 3.00 P.M to promote the filing of international applications through Receiving Office especially RO/IN & ePCT and also improve the functioning of Indian Patent Office as ISA/IN and IPEA/IN.

This announcement officially published on 6^th June 2017.

The Indian Patent office initiated this step to ensure that the applicants /stakeholders those are filing International Applications under ePCT to avail some benefits of fees reduction.

The Indian Patent Office has been successfully functioning as International Searching and Preliminary Examining Authority from 15^th October 2013.

All the stakeholders and the applicants who file the International Applications under PCT and use the services of Indian Patent Office as ISA/IPEA are warmly invited to attend the meeting and the stakeholders are requested to send their confirmation by mail at dixit.rajesh@nic.in or delhi-patent@nic.in by 16^th June 2017.
