Indian Patent office issued a new update regarding generation and issuance of patent certificates for grant of patents is now fully automated. This automated generation of patent certificates system effective from 03rd July 2017.
The generated patent certificate will be conveyed to applicant or authorized patent agent through email address recorded with the office and also made available to the official website (www.ipindia.gov.in) with application status. This may be downloaded and printed by the applicant. For quick transmission of patent certificates, the applicants and patent agents are advised to update their valid email id to the office or e-filing portal.
